AEW Double or Nothing 2022 Betting Odds

AEW Double or Nothing 2022 takes place this Sunday, May 29th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This is one of the most interesting AEW pay-per-views from a betting perspective in quite some time as there are numerous matches that I can see going either way.

Key among those matches is the main event. Hangman Adam Page is actually an underdog in this match right now at +130. I know that many people think that Punk is winning here, but I just don’t see it. We know that Punk is a big star and all that, but does he need the title? I don’t think so. Hangman on the other hand, I’m not sure where he fits without the title right now. AEW should be the place for the future of wrestling. Save the 40+ year old champions for WWE.

The World Tag Team title match also seems primed for a title change. Jurassic Express is a slight favorite, but I’m just not sure where they go from here. It feels like they haven’t had a title defense since Revolution. They actually had two, but none since April 13th. This story has been much more about the other two teams and I think the title scene could be freshened up with one of the two winning. I’m leaning Hobbs & Starks +200 if that’s the case.

The third match that I really see a great bet on an underdog is in the Anarchy in the Arena match. The Jericho Appreciation Society is +170 and I think they are a fantastic bet at that price. This doesn’t feel like the blow-off match to this feud and I believe they will end up doing a Blood & Guts match. That match loses it’s luster if the good guys get their win before it happens, in my opinion.

AEW Double or Nothing 2022 Betting Odds:

Betting odds found at BetOnline.Ag.

  • AEW World Championship: CM Punk (-170) vs. Hangman Adam Page (+130)
  • AEW World Tag Team Championship: Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus (-140) vs. Powerhouse Hobbs & Ricky Starks (+200) vs. Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland (+285)
  • AEW Women’s World Championship: Thunder Rosa (-800) vs. Serena Deeb (+450)
  • TBS Championship: Jade Cargill (-1600) vs. Anna Jay (+600)
  • Anarchy in the Arena: Moxley & Danielson, Santana & Ortiz, E. Kingston (-250) vs. Jericho Appreciation Society (+170)
  • Wardlow (-650) vs. MJF (+375)
  • Young Bucks (-200) vs. The Hardys (+135)
  • House of Black (-160) vs. Death Triangle (+120)
  • Hook & Danhausen vs. Tony Nese & Smart Mark Sterling (+600)

The Hardys +135 taking on the Young Bucks feels like a good bet as well. This run for the Hardys should be a dream match tour and it feels weird to me that they would lose the first of them. The Bucks can always get the win back and keep their heat.

Is Serena Deeb worth a bet at +450? Thunder Rosa hasn’t had much of a run with the title thus far and they don’t usually have champions lose the title this early, but they seem to really like Serena. It might be worth a little bet.

Death Triangle and House of Black is a real coinflip. I have no idea what either team does next after this match so it’s hard to say which way to lean.

We also have Wardlow at -650 taking on MJF. It seems like MJF would be a good bet here, but the stipulation where Wardlow won’t wrestle in AEW again throws that out the window. I think they do the simple and obvious thing that everyone wants here.

The other matches aren’t really worth discussing. Jade isn’t losing to Anna Jay. Hook & Danhausen aren’t losing to Tony Nese and a manager.

There are currently no odds on the Owen Hart Cup finals matches. I will update this post if they are added before Sunday.
