AEW Full Gear Betting Odds

AEW’s Full Gear takes place on November 9th. This is the third official AEW pay-per-view event and the first event since their debut since premiering on national television. The show is headlined by two big matches as Cody will get a shot at Chris Jericho for the AEW World Championship and Jon Moxley will face Kenny Omega in an unsanctioned, lights out match.

The show will also feature PAC taking on Adam Page in a rematch from the first AEW TV show. It’s also a match that was originally planned for Double or Nothing before things happened and PAC was off the show. The Young Bucks will take on the Inner Circle team of Santana and Ortiz in what should be an awesome match.

Let’s take a look at the current betting odds.

The main event World Championship meets currently sees Chris Jericho as a big favorite. There is a fan theory out there that since Jericho is rumored to be taking part in New Japan’s Wrestle Kingdom where he will more than likely lose to Hiroshi Tanahashi, that he should lose here since you don’t want your champion losing in New Japan.

Personally, I think that’s dumb. You can’t run your promotion based on what other people are doing. I think Jericho will hold on here and they’ll save Cody’s big win for down the line. There is just too much great stuff with Jericho and the Inner Circle to give up now.

The really interesting match to me is Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley. This match was made unsanctioned so it doesn’t count towards the records. That basically means that we are going to have no rules and a ton of weapons. Omega is an underdog here, but I’m not sure I see it that way. Omega winning in what is considered to be Mox’s type of match could add a really interesting wrinkle to this story going forward. I don’t think this is anywhere near the end of these two and an Omega win could set up the next chapter. It would also set Omega up nicely to be Jericho’s next challenger.

Adam Page versus PAC is a fun match because it could really go either way. Page has had a down run since losing to Jericho at All Out, but he’s been rebounding well of late and has momentum on his side. PAC is his big rival right now and a win would be great for his momentum, but PAC also doesn’t lose. There is a story being told with Page right now where a loss might do a better job of continuing it.

Santana and Ortiz vs. the Young Bucks should be awesome. A big win for Santana and Ortiz feels like a lock right now and I would even go over on the star rating. The Bucks are on fire right now.

I will update more as matches get added and we find out more odds.
