Daniel Bryan big favorite in latest men’s Royal Rumble odds

We are under two weeks from the 2021 WWE Royal Rumble and one man has emerged as a big favorite in the latest odds: Daniel Bryan.

Daniel Bryan is all the way down to +125 to win the match which is a pretty big favorite for this match. The winner of this match has more often than not gone off somewhere between -150 and +150 so this is right in line with historical winners.

Of course, last year saw some major upsets from a betting odds perspective in both the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches. With two brands, it’s easy for WWE to make a switch and still go forward with their plans.

Daniel Bryan is an interesting choice. You know that he would get an outstanding match out of Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, but it’s really hard to recapture the magic they once had with him. Nobody needs him to win that match in a way that you expect a babyface going against a heel at WrestleMania would be.

Of course, that’s kind of the state of WWE right now. If not Bryan, who? I had thought previously that they could get that kind of feeling with Big E (+600), but that doesn’t seem to be a direction they are going. Not yet at least.

The Raw side is interesting with Drew McIntyre set to face Goldberg at the Royal Rumble. A win by Drew is not set in stone as WWE has shown they will have Goldberg beat a younger guy for the title. In that scenario, who does he face at WrestleMania? Keith Lee at +400 might be able to get there, Brock Lesnar (+600) would be absolutely hilarious, and… I’m struggling to come up with a third name.

This could be a fun Rumble because it does feel pretty wide open, but the deeper I look – the more I like Bryan. I just wish I could get more excited about it.
